Cockroach Infestation Basingstoke 24/7
Cockroaches are a major health hazard to both commercial and domestic owners. They can carry a number of different diseases such as salmonella and dysentery. To eliminate the infestation there a couple of solutions our trained Basingstoke pest controllers can carry out. IGR bait is an insect growth regulator that stops the cockroach replacing its skin. IGR bait is applied in small doses around the infestation and away from human contact; this is a highly effective method of removing the infestation. Another solution is Permethrin dust, which is used in cases of the infestation in roofs or under floors. Both of these products are two of the safest insecticides to humans, dogs and cats. At Able Pest Basingstoke we will provide advice and measures to prevent any further infestation. Our emergency operations centre is available 24/7 for any queries you may have.

Bees
There are many different types of bees which we may come across and all are very beneficial to our environment, some species, such as solitary mining or masonry bees do not have the ability to sting man and some are specific pollenators of certain flowers. Bees come in three major varieties in the UK; Honey Bees, Bumblebees and Masonry Bees.
The first two are protected species due to their usefulness in pollinating plants (and honey bees agricultural use of making honey), and should be moved where possible, but it is permissible to forcibly exterminate them where there is a serious threat to life or property.
Bees are either social or solitary, in that they either readily join with others in a nest, or rarely do so and raise their young alone. Bees can sting repeatedly like wasps can, if attacking another insect. However, if a Honey Bee is attacking a mammal or larger creature with skin, the barb gets stuck in the skin and the bee is fatally wounded in its escape.
